Our history
Nomadic World
At the end of the 90s, the American Chris Anderson , a vegan designer with a nomadic spirit, had a revelation. The world was increasing plastic consumption, generating a large amount of new waste. Faced with this problem, Chris decided to actively get involved in the ecology of our planet, designing eco-sustainable sandals. To manufacture them, he recovered plastic material deposited in seas and rivers, transformed it into polypropylene rope and created the famous Nomadic State of Mind sandals, now present throughout the world.
Our commitment
Fair Trade
Chris' concerns about building a better world took him to Nicaragua , specifically to a community with few resources. There he established the workshop to manufacture his sandals, establishing a supportive and alternative commercial system to the conventional one. In this way he contributed to the development of that community, fighting poverty and manufacturing Fair Trade sandals.
Sustainable production
Artesanal workshop
Nomadic State of Mind eco-sustainable sandals are manufactured in an artisan workshop located in an old coffee factory in Nicaragua. They are made solely and exclusively by hand, one by one, following a meticulous manufacturing process that makes them so special.
